Cool Touch is one of original lasers at The Center for Aesthetics - we have found this laser indispensable for its treatment of active acne problems which are resistant to creams or topical programs. These laser treatments are easy to tolerate and have no downtime, helping to control areas of stubborn acne like the jaw line and chin.
Treatment Information:
Treatments typically require about 45 minutes. We apply a topical numbing agent prior to the session to make it comfortable. Skin is slightly pink and perhaps a little blotchy temporarily following each session. Makeup coverage can conceal any skin reactivity and it is gone within a few hours. Sessions are usually performed anywhere from every other week to monthly depending upon the degree of acne problems. Maintenance treatments are highly recommended after resolution of your problems. Typically we recommend every other month to quarterly depending on the extent of your problems. Risks are minimal. Rarely the skin might remain red for a few days following the session or an area of the skin may scab.
