During Dr. Durboraw graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. During this time she demonstrated an early interest in medicine participating and co-authoring scientific papers on the effect of neuropeptides on cerebral vasospasm.
Dr. Durboraw's four year residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Tennessee, she published and produced several scientific articles and instructional videos on cosmetic surgery technique and orbital trauma and disease, and her final year of residency serving as cheif resident gave her a unique surgical "hands on" experience.
Dr. Durboraw obtained a position in an American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) while working under New York plastic surgeon Orkan Stasior, MD. Sshe contributed a chapter in a highly regarded ophthalmology textbook, and gained an intensive surgical experience in the field of orbital and eyelid associated plastic and reconstructive surgery.
In 1998 Dr. Durboraw opened her private practice, The Center for Aesthetics, which reflects her commitment to providing unparalleled competency and technology in this area of medicine. The Center for Aesthetics has grown to serve a large portion of the state of Idaho as well as western Wyoming. Dr. Durboraw maintains a personal interest in aesthetic medicine and surgery. Dr. Durboraw copntinues to demonstrate her high level of leadership ability and is currently serving as the Chief of the Department of Surgery at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
